因政府停摆奥巴马放弃访问菲律宾和马来西亚 Oct 3rd 2013, 00:28 据报道，奥巴马原订星期六出国前往东南亚四国访问。不过，为了解决内政问题，欧巴马将不去此行的后两站─马来西亚和菲律宾访问，他将依照原订计划前往印尼和汶莱。 奥巴马原来计划去这几个国家推动经济合作和出席亚太经合会峰会。 奥巴马2010年取消过两次访问亚洲的行程。第一次是为了紧盯他提的健保案，第二次是为了处理墨西哥湾的漏油事件。
